An accident or traumatic brain injury can affect far more than physical recovery. Changes in concentration, memory, sleep, energy, and emotional regulation may occur alongside anxiety, fear, trauma symptoms, or irritability.
For some people, the accident itself also remains difficult to move past — particularly when driving, returning to work, or encountering reminders of what happened.
I provide trauma-focused psychotherapy for the emotional and psychological effects that can follow accidents and traumatic brain injury. Treatment may incorporate EMDR, Trauma-Informed CBT, and other evidence-based approaches, tailored to your symptoms, needs, and stage of recovery.
When appropriate, I also collaborate with neurologists and other treating professionals as part of coordinated care.
Treatment is available in person in Pasadena and via telehealth throughout California and Arizona.
