A demanding career can make it difficult to create space for your own needs. You may be managing significant responsibilities, making high-stakes decisions, caring for others, or simply accustomed to being the person others rely on.
Trauma doesn't always fit neatly around those responsibilities. You may continue functioning well professionally while noticing changes in sleep, concentration, relationships, confidence, or the ability to feel fully present in your life.
Therapy offers a confidential space to address what is affecting you without losing sight of the life and responsibilities you are continuing to manage.
Treatment is individualized around what brings you in, your goals, and the realities of your schedule. You may be seeking support following a recent traumatic experience, addressing something from the past that continues to affect you, or returning to therapy because there is something you are ready to work on more directly.
Depending on your needs, treatment may incorporate EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, and other evidence-based approaches.
For those who prefer to set aside dedicated time rather than meet weekly, EMDR intensives are also available in single-day and multi-day formats.
Greater focus – reducing the mental and emotional interference that can make it harder to be fully present.
Improved sleep – addressing trauma-related patterns that make it difficult to rest and recover.
Stronger connection – being more present in your relationships and life outside of work.
Greater emotional balance – feeling less reactive, overwhelmed, or affected by unresolved experiences.
Moving forward – addressing what has been holding your attention so you can engage more fully in the life you've built.
I offer confidential trauma therapy in person in Pasadena and via telehealth in California and Arizona.
Weekly therapy and EMDR intensives are available depending on your needs and treatment goals.
