Relationships shape how we connect, love, and feel supported in the world. But they aren’t always easy. You may find yourself struggling with conflict in your marriage, communication challenges in your family, or difficulty navigating the dating world. I support people at all stages of relationship: couples, partners navigating transitions, individuals who are dating, and those facing challenges with family or close connections. Many of my clients are professionals balancing demanding careers alongside relationship stress, or individuals seeking healthier relational patterns after past difficulties

My Approach

At Jessica Muñoz Cohan Psychotherapy, I draw from Gottman Method Couples Therapy (I am Level 2 trained), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I tailor the approach to your unique needs, combining relational skill-building with deeper trauma-informed work.


For some, therapy focuses on strengthening communication and repairing trust. For others, it means uncovering and breaking patterns of negative self-talk, self-doubt, or past relational wounds that continue to shape current relationships. By addressing both the present dynamics and the deeper experiences that fuel them, therapy helps create lasting change.
